Components

The Beluga Ex series is available for hand-held enclosure applications in the Ex sector. These U-certified enclosures consisting of the Ex-approved material polyamide 12 feature Degree of Protection IP 65 and are used as basic components for gas-detection instruments and other Ex-sector applications.

This product range comprises three sizes (the Beluga 180, Beluga 220 and Beluga 380). Types with a closed top and a display opening are available in the case of the two smaller enclosures sizes.

For hand-held enclosure applications, the Beluga Ex includes a recess for Ex-certified membrane keypads. The service-temperature range for these enclosures is -20°C to +60°C.
