Enclosures

The approved Ex enclosures of the Polyglas series consist of glass-fibre-reinforced polyester and are equipped with a hinged lid and with various closure types. Thanks to their robust design, these Ex Polyglas enclosures are used wherever components require protection against aggressive fluids and the elements.

Typical indoor and outdoor applications include:

  • Distribution cabinets
  • Measuring and weather stations
  • Operating, control and monitoring systems

The enclosure body consists of glass-fibre-reinforced polyester with a hinged lid. The Polyglas Ex enclosure’s special lid closure system features a GRP turning bolt with differing closures. The locking cylinder and locking pin are corrosion-resistant.
