Dr. Philip J. Brown is President and CEO of Phoenix Mecano Inc., a global leader in the electronic enclosure and industrial automation segments. Phoenix Mecano is the North American design and value-added manufacturer of the Phoenix Mecano Group.
He serves on the Phoenix Mecano Group (Switzerland) Executive Group Leadership Committee.
Philip served as a Chief Engineer (Nuclear) in the British Royal Navy Submarine Service for 11 years. With his family, he relocated to the United States in 2005.

Tammy Schaeffer joined Phoenix Mecano Inc. as a financial analyst in 2008. She assumed the leadership role within the Finance and Accounting department in 2010. She holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Management with a strong emphasis on accounting. In addition to her professional achievements, Tammy completed Leadership Frederick County in 2022.
Currently serving as the finance director at Phoenix Mecano, Tammy oversees all corporate accounting and financial reporting functions. Having spent over twenty-five years in this field, she’s a staunch advocate for continuous improvement and brings a high level of expertise to her role. She also embraces the principles of Industry 4.0 in order to keep Phoenix Mecano at the forefront of innovation in manufacturing, and her close collaboration with the CEO Phillip Brown is instrumental in providing vital financial insights that drive strategic business decisions. Outside of her professional commitments and passion for the industry, Tammy enjoys spending quality time with her family and her dogs. She’s also excited by the thrill of being on the roller derby track.
Chris Howes, Supply Chain Director, hails from Maryland. He is a proud graduate of Towson University, where he earned his degree in Industrial Operations. With a comprehensive career in supply chain, Chris boasts a versatile skill set acquired from working in various facets of the field.
Chris is particularly drawn to the complexities and challenges that come with driving operational efficiency, resiliency, and sustainability within the company. His leadership in the supply chain arena is instrumental in ensuring Phoenix Mecano maintains its competitive edge. Outside the office, Chris treasures quality family time and finds fulfillment in tackling home improvement projects. His garage is a creative haven where he dedicates time to his personal passions. Furthermore, Chris relishes moments spent at the lake, reveling in the serenity of the outdoors, In addition to his professional commitments. Chris is a graduate of Leadership Frederick County 23’ and also is an active member of ASCM (Association for Supply Chain Management), further exemplifying his dedication to advancing the field of supply chain management.
LeeAnne Pacheco, Sales Director at Phoenix Mecano, joined us in 2010. She’s earned a BSBA in Business, and has over 25 years of international sales experience.
The quote, “We can’t direct the wind but we can adjust the sails,” (Thomas S Monson) resonates with her not only because she enjoys Catamaran Sailing but it reminds her that we can’t control what happens to us, but we do have the power to control our responses and reactions. Outside of work, LeeAnne enjoys being an empty-nester and traveling on the weekends to visit her daughter in Ohio, her son in NYC, as well as family in Florida and Maine. She spends as much time outside as she can. Her favorite activities are kayaking, bike riding, hiking, skiing, and visiting farm breweries. LeeAnne’s happy place is on the beaches of North Carolina’s Outer Banks.
Tara Julian Julian joined Phoenix Mecano in the fall of 2021. She has extensive HR experience in multiple industries including hospitality, health services, non-profits, and manufacturing with expertise in process improvements and training. She is a graduate of the University of Pittsburgh and a SHRM-Certified Professional. Born in Pittsburgh, PA, her HR career began in Pennsylvania and took her to California, before settling in Maryland.
Outside of work, Tara loves to build Lego kits with her son and watch football. She is passionate about pit bulls, the Steelers, and travel. Tara believes it is important to volunteer time and money to community nonprofits. You are likely to find her at events raising money for dog rescues. Rebekah Collogan joined the Phoenix Mecano Team in 2019. She holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Industrial Engineering from Wichita State University and a Master’s of Engineering in Professional Practice from the University of Wisconsin. Her manufacturing journey began as a way to gain technical skills on her path to a law degree. However, she discovered her passion for improving work processes and driving change, leading her to pursue a career in engineering.
Rebekah’s diverse background includes experience in heavy equipment OEM manufacturing, project management, and capital investment. Outside of work, she enjoys travel, cooking, and baking.
William Green joined the Phoenix Mecano team in early 2019 as Planning Manager. After only a few months at Phoenix Mecano he added the responsibility of Production Manager, and later Health and Safety Officer. He holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Business Economics from Boise State University. He brings 2 decades of experience in manufacturing, planning, and operations across multiple industries including fiberglass composites, automotive, semiconductors, and sensors. William and his team play a critical role in orchestrating the entire production process. From planning to finished goods, they are continuously analyzing and improving the manufacturing processes.
As manufacturing continues to evolve worldwide, William recognizes that it is important to proactively grow the next generation of production employees. He works to achieve this goal by providing internal training opportunities as well as participating with local workforce development and apprenticeship organizations.

Neha Mahajan is a strategic stakeholder leader at Phoenix Mecano. Working with the triage mindset and communication, she manages multiple internal and external stakeholders. She joined Phoenix Mecano in 2017 & has 15 years of diverse ERP/IT (Enterprise Resource Planning) International experience. Her current leadership role is central to overall strategy and business performance.
Mahajan holds a bachelor’s degree in computer applications and a master’s in computer management. Her mindset is structured to be agile and alert to Strategic opportunities and change, centered to the people and business processes. She’s always ready for change, automation, and continuous improvements in the business process & describes as being “at the center of the ‘future of work.” Her favorite quote is Albert Einstein’s, “The measure of intelligence is the ability to change.”
