Tammy Schaeffer joined Phoenix Mecano Inc. as a financial analyst in 2008. She assumed the leadership role within the Finance and Accounting department in 2010. She holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Management with a strong emphasis on accounting. In addition to her professional achievements, Tammy completed Leadership Frederick County in 2022.
Currently serving as the finance director at Phoenix Mecano, Tammy oversees all corporate accounting and financial reporting functions. Having spent over twenty-five years in this field, she’s a staunch advocate for continuous improvement and brings a high level of expertise to her role. She also embraces the principles of Industry 4.0 in order to keep Phoenix Mecano at the forefront of innovation in manufacturing, and her close collaboration with the CEO Phillip Brown is instrumental in providing vital financial insights that drive strategic business decisions. Outside of her professional commitments and passion for the industry, Tammy enjoys spending quality time with her family and her dogs. She’s also excited by the thrill of being on the roller derby track.
