On-Ramp Wireless needed an enclosure to provide the “access point” for data transmission from endpoint nodes via RF modems.
RK’s Customer is a global leader in automotive safety equipment. One of the CNC machines has a maintenance panel that is eight feet off the ground and not easily accessible. In need of a stair platform system, they contacted Phoenix Mecano to design a solution that was accessible from both sides and at the correct height for a maintenance employee to service the machine.
RK’s customer designs and manufactures a variety of height-adjustable bottling lines and converting equipment, mainly for the pharmaceutical and food and beverage industries. Every product manufactured requires height adjustability because the bottles passing through the machine vary in size. The challenge was to incorporate a strong, durable, electric lifting column to fully support their machine and provide height adjustability.

Chromalox, a manufacturer of advanced thermal technologies, was searching for a junction box that was rugged enough to withstand hazardous locations and extreme environments, and pass stringent ATEX testing. The junction box would be used to house heat trace terminal wiring installed in process critical industrial applications. Typical applications include temperature management of piping systems, valves, and tanks.
An ABB Power Protection facility, located in Richmond, Virginia, came to Phoenix Mecano requesting products already in use at ABB headquarters, located in Turgi, Switzerland. ABB headquarters consistently utilizes our Rose & Krieger product solutions within their manufacturing facility and suggested that the Virginia facility should acquire the same Rose & Krieger products.
