On May 14th, Secretary of Commerce for the State of Maryland, Kelly Schulz, visited Phoenix Mecano headquarters located in Frederick, MD. Secretary Schulz, along with an array of elected officials and dignitaries, toured our state-of-the-art manufacturing facility to learn more about Phoenix Mecano as a value-added manufacturer and to view our various product lines that have been protecting and moving the world’s innovations for over 30 years.

During their visit, Secretary Schulz and Philip Brown, President/CEO of Phoenix Mecano, discussed in great detail the positive economic impact that Phoenix Mecano continually provides to local and global markets, as well as staffing challenges associated with developing skilled labor and awareness of manufacturing as a viable employment industry for emerging employees.
